I recently had a fantastic stay at a lovely hotel nestled in the heart of a popular ski resort. The location was unbeatable, with a short walk to the bustling main street filled with restaurants and shops. The ski lifts were just steps away, making it incredibly convenient to hit the slopes. The rooms were cozy and well-appointed, with comfortable beds that provided a great night's sleep. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast, complete with fresh juice and locally brewed coffees to kickstart the day. It was truly a delightful stay.
Absolutely nothing to complain about, everything was perfect.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Myoko. The location is perfect, with the ski slopes just a stone's throw away, making it super convenient for skiing. The staff was amazing and made me feel right at home, always ready to help. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with excellent western mattresses on the floor and great views of the nearby slopes. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast, with fresh juice and delicious local brewed coffee. It was the perfect way to start my day before hitting the slopes.
Nothing could have been better.

the location was superb - it is super close to the slopes and ski lifts, making it extremely convenient for skiers like me. The rooms were clean and cozy, with excellent Western mattresses that ensured a comfortable night's sleep. The best part was the view from my room, overlooking the ski run - definitely a treat for the eyes! The staff was also very friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. Another highlight was the breakfast, which offered fresh juice and delicious locally brewed coffees - a perfect start to the day!
The only minor downside was the size of the hotel. It may be a bit smaller than it looks in the photos, and certain areas like the board rack, drying room, and lobby were a little cramped.

We recently spent Easter in a small lodge tucked into the slopes of Akakura Onsen. the location was superb, you can ski in and ski out, no need to walk long distances with your gear. the breakfast was amazing with fresh juices and local coffees to start each day and the room was lovely with fluffy towels, comfy bedding, and a private onsen with views of the surroundings.
One of the negative aspects of the stay was the lack of en-suite showers, but the clean and comfortable onsen helped make up for it. On one of the evenings, we could smell smoke from other guests smoking in the nearby rooms, which wasn't pleasant.

Amazing service, ski-in ski-out, delicious vegan breakfasts, accommodating owners, private Onsen baths, thoughtful amenities.
Nothing to mention.

I had the best time skiing at this hotel! The location was amazing - just steps away from the ski lifts and close to great restaurants and bars. The staff were all super friendly and helpful in providing information about transportation and parking. I loved the tasty breakfast every morning and was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel facilities. Upon check out, I appreciated how this city had an ATM down the mountain to make things easier.
Absolutely nothing.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was a wonderful experience. The ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes was incredibly convenient, and being only a short walk away from the town center was a major plus. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the private onsen was a luxurious treat after a long day of skiing. The breakfast was a standout with fresh juice, delicious coffee, and tasty vegetarian options.
The beds were a little hard, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the hotel caters more to couples and small groups, so if you're looking for a party atmosphere or traveling with a large group, this may not be the right hotel for you.

Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
